Hello everyone .
My name is Khin Lan San. I am from Myanmar. My native village is
Kyauknimaw which is situated in Rambye Township, Rakine State, Myanmar. I am 20
years old. I am the youngest child of a family and
I am the apple of my family’s eyes. I have six family
members. I have one eldest sister and two elder
brothers. My family is such a nice family and love to each other
very much. My parents are small merchants.
I studied in the village from primary level till I passed
matriculation exam. After passing matriculation exam, I attended
Yangon Institute of Economics till I became second year student in that
Institute. While I was attending second year, I got a chance to sit
for an entrance exam to enroll AIU. I grabbed that opportunity
because I badly wanted to study in abroad but my family cannot afford to send
me abroad to study. Fortunately, I was given a chance to achieve
scholarship from AIU. In that way, I became an AIU citizen.
After arriving AIU, I have been learning not only education
but also experiences which are precious and very useful for
life. When I first arrived here, I had a lot of
difficulties. The biggest problem was language problem because I was
very weak in speaking English. Secondly, I had many cultural
conflicts with foreign students because this is my very first time meeting with
foreign people.
I had a lot of problems even with my country mates because
although they and I came from one country, we are from different states,
different races, and we use different language. Another problem was
home sick. I could not do anything on my own especially in making
decisions because I am the youngest. I frequently felt like I wanted
to go back to home and I did not want to study anymore with people and problems
which made my life miserable.
My family taught me a lot of skills but I never applied them
because I needed not to use any of them when I was living with them. After
arriving here, I needed to use all those skills. Anyway, I endured
everything. Now, I become matured. I have overcome many
problems and I am ready to face further problems.
I am a student learning in FSP (Foundation studies
program). In the first semester,I took Information Literacy. It was really
nice but so difficult for me who is not familiar with anything about
computers. However, I had fun a lot with my beautiful teacher Ms.Asna Khairun
Binti Abdul Rhaman, ( We caleed her Miss Asna)all of my country mates and other funny friends.
In the second semester, I was in the Computer and Internet class with
a new teacher Mr. Azamuddin Abdul Rahman (we call him Mr.Azam)
.He is really generous, kind and a bit funny. We all liked him. He gave loads
of knowledge what he has. Like
Information Literacy class, I met my country mates and some of my foreign
friends from Information Literacy class and a lot of new friends. The special thing about that class was that I
met a best friend who helped me in everything.
There are my country mates but I did all the group works, pair works and
even individual assignments with my best friend. I had good memories in that class.
Now, I am in Information Technology class with my new beautiful and very confident lecturer, Miss
Nur Khairunnisha Zainal. We call her
Miss Nisha. Before I attend this class,
I hoped that I would know much more about Information Technology from my
beloved teacher. One of the special things about this class is that we always start our class with Surah Al-Fathiha.
Yes, like I expected, I learnt a lot and I get the connection and
concepts among the three subjects (IT, IL and Computer and Internet). I really like this subject especially the
teachers who want to give us all what they have.
It is really interesting.
Have a good day !! see you all ...
